Abstract

The de Young Exhibition Records collection provides an ongoing list of every special exhibition to take place in the history of the de Young museum since 1912. Each year lists all known exhibitions in chronological order by opening date. All materials related to each exhibition will be added under the exhibition title.

A collection of any and all scrapbooks that chronicle the history of the Legion of Honor. Each scrapbook contains mainly clippings covering a variety of topics, including exhibitions, events, notable figures, and San Francisco and Bay Area news.

Scope and Contents This collection provides indexes of various publications from the history of the de Young and the Legion of Honor.Pacific Art Review was published by the de Young from 1941 through 1946. It included essays about the collection written by staff of the Museum. The Bulletin of the California Palace of the Legion of Honor was published from 1943 to 1967 and Museum Bulletin was published from 1967 to 1968.
