Museum of Modern Art (established 1929)

A major exhibition of more than 400 native, indigenous, and folk art objects tracing the history of the South American Andean region from about 1200 BCE until the arrival of the Spanish in the 16th century. The exhibition was a collaboration between the Legion of Honor, the Museum of Modern Art, New York, and the Minneapolis Institute of Arts.
