This exhibition comprises 250 fine books, illustrating all phases of the art of book making (binding, typography, illustration, etc.) in France from 1900 to 1948, with special emphasis upon the last ten years. The exhibition, lent by the French Government, is sponsored by a committee of leading San Francisco bibliophiles.
