15 rare tapestries representing the Flemish and French schools from the 16th to 18th century, lent by Mr. Mitchell Samuels of the P.W. French & Company of New York from Spring to Summer 1926. Included in the exhibition was a set of six Louis XIV tapestries woven by Phillippe Behagle, after the cartoons of LeBrun, Van der Meulen, and Martin. This set of tapestries was the most important of its kind and belonged to Lord Amherst.
