An exhibition of religious art of Christian iconography by Native American artists under Spanish Colonial rule in what is now New Mexico. The exhibition was arranged from the collection of the Museum of New Mexico with assistance from the Museum of International Folk Art.

The Bulletin of the California Palace of the Legion of Honor Vol. 17, No. 11 served as the exhibition bulletin and is in the Legion of Honor Exhibition Catalog collection in box 1. Installation photograph prints and negatives are housed in the Legion of Honor Exhibition Photograph collection in box 24.
