An exhibition of 65 oil paintings and watercolor paintings by 59 contemporary Australian artists invited to submit works by an artist jury, featuring 6 aboriginal artists of the Arunta (Aranda) tribe. The exhibition was sponsored by the Matson navigation company and was intended to foster closer cultural ties between the U.S. and Australia.
The exhibition records span five folders and include a press release, price list, planning correspondence, registration receipts, and a magazine, plus a catalog, clippings, and photographs.
