Scope and Contents

An exhibition of export porcelain dishes by Chinese artists of the middle ages, celebrating a recent gift of 21 porcelain objects collected in Paris, France and donated to the museum by Legion of Honor co-founder, Alma de Bretteville Spreckels. Additional loans were made by Mrs. D.C. Ashley and Mrs. James V. Coleman.
The exhibition records span one folder of registration receipts. The Bulletin of the California Palace of the Legion of Honor Vol. 11, No. 5 served as the exhibition bulletin and is in the catalog collection. Clippings are in the clipping collection. Installation photograph prints and negatives are in the photograph collection.
