Scope and Contents
An exhibition of over 100 black and white photographs by American artist Eliot Elisofon while on assignment for Life magazine to photograph life along the Nile River in Egypt. Another exhibition of photographs of Egyptian monuments by Elisofon for Life Magazine was shown at the Legion of Honor in 1948.
The exhibition records span three folders and include an exhibition description, planning correspondence, and registration receipts. Installation photograph prints and negatives are in the photograph collection.
