Scope and Contents

A large exhibition of 400-500 paintings from North, Central, and South America displaying unity among the diverse cultures of the western hemisphere. The works came to the Legion from the Los Angeles Museum (Los Angeles County Art Museum) and offered prizes to the best works in each section.
No exhibition materials remain for the exhibition. Only a short description of the exhibition from the Legion of Honor Director’s Report September 30, 1925 remains.
