Scope and Contents
An exhibition of religious artworks by Spanish colonist artists of the Southwestern United States, including “bultos” or figures and “retablos” or painted panels. The exhibition was arranged by the Taylor Museum in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The exhibition records span five folders and include planning correspondence, damage correspondence, registration receipts, installation information, and shipping information. Installation photograph prints and negatives are in the photograph collection. The Bulletin of the California Palace of the Legion of Honor Vol. 3, No. 8 covered the exhibition and is available in the archives.
