Scope and Contents
An large traveling exhibition of paintings, photographs, camouflage, posters, and cartoons depicting life in Great Britain during World War II, arranged by Sir Kenneth Clark, director of the National Gallery in London, England and circuited by the Museum of Modern Art. The exhibition was supplemented by a small exhibition entitled America Goes to War.
The exhibition records span nine folders and include a press release, checklist, catalog description, contract, registration receipts, shipping information, and lender, customs, and general correspondence. A copy of the Museum of Modern Art installation catalog is in the catalog collection. Object photograph negatives are in the photograph collection.
